Halloween Party

After I had Lucas in 2010, I was lucky to meet five other women through a "Mom's Group" who all had their first babies in the same week as me, in the same hospital - some of us on even on the same day. We've stayed close and get our kids together regularly. It's been amazing to watch them all grow together - doing so many things at the same time and yet emerging as such different little people! I hosted a Halloween get-together when the kids were just 8 months old for their first Halloween. We lined up all the babies and took a picture. Last year Halloween was cancelled due to a freak New England storm that knocked power out of 95% of our state. And this year, despite Hurricane Sandy's devastating impact, we were spared and able to host another party for the kids. Grace and Lucas were discovered hiding out in the bathroom and applying stick-on Halloween tattoos to each other. Apparently, the ones mom applied just weren't enough so they took it upon themselves to steal some from the other kids' party baskets and put them all over themselves. Watch out for these two!
