Dog Days

August was a busy month in our house. In an effort to organize the photos a little, I've divided pictures of Lucas and Lila into separate posts. LUCAS - Blueberry Picking:

Lucas passed the 2 1/2 year mark in August and is growing so fast! Three inches over the last few months. He's a big eater and calls himself the "broccoli monster"

Since Lila was born, Lucas has had to learn how to share his time with Mom and Dad. Still, we try to sketch out a little one-on-one time with him as often as possible. He's still a very little person!

We don't eat a lot of sweets but part of being a kid in the summer time is enjoying farm-stand fresh ice cream cones. Lucas also took part in the "cupcake wars" competition at his daycare. He got to pick which cupcake to eat out of dozens of Dr.Suess-themed treats. He chose the biggest chocolate cupcake he could find, with a big #1 decorated on the top. Smart boy!

Lucas went to the library recently and checked out his first books. He was very excited and chose to wear his froggy rain boots. Nevermind that it was over 80 degrees!
